Laurel & Hardy
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were responsible for 107 films during their career and 67 years after they released their last film they are still making people laugh today. The comedy duo first worked together in 1921 and worked on silent movies. When in 1929 silent films began to fade many actors found it difficult to transist but Laurel and Hardy played on their visual humor to overcome this and become the most sought after comedy actors in USA.
Anyone that has taken the time watch one of their films will find it hard not to appreciate the genius that is Laurel and Hardy after all 'You can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be led'.
